Oso Solo Mio is the first half of the 23rd episode of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera.

After saving Manny and Frida's lives, El Oso asks them a favor to help him get his one true love.....a bear princess.

Episode Summary

El Oso is seen robbing a bank. Manny, as El Tigre, steps in and defeats him. Also with him is Frida. The Miracle City Bank suddenly crumble and falls (since El Oso was slammed into it), with Manny and Frida in its path. El Oso pushes them out of the way, taking the hit instead. As the police come to take him away, Manny thanks him for saving them. El Oso tells him that he will be needing a favor in return someday, which is almost immediately as El Oso quickly escapes.

At El Oso's cave home in Calavera, he tells Manny and Frida his story. When El Oso was a bab, he got abandoned at an orpanage camping trip. He came across a bear, and felt he belonged with their kind. He grew up living among the bears, learning their lifestyle. One day, he saw a female bear, the princess of the Bear King, and became smitten with her. However, the king refused to let El Oso marry her. El Oso assumed the king needed wealth in order to approve, so he left to Miracle City, and to this day kept robbing the bank to earn the fortune he needed, only to be thwarted by El Tigre every time. Manny and Frida agree to help El Oso win the heart of the Bear Princess.
